We want to hear from you...

Although we are an environmentally friendly technology company, what we really do is create solutions and opportunities for people to make environmentally conscious choices. Starting with our CEO, Captain Bernardo J. Herzer and continuing through our corporate offices, the fabrication center and our warehouse, LEHR is committed to making sure that our customers are completely happy with our products and services. Like in any family and community adventure, things happen unexpectedly, and questions come up. If you have comments, concerns, questions or suggestions, we want to keep hearing from you. Getting feedback has been a great learning process for those of us here at LEHR. All of your comments, blogs and reviews, positive or negative influence the plans we make, the products we design and the profile of our customer service. We have already made significant design and instruction modifications to answer some of your questions and meet your ever changing needs. So, we are listening and responding to all of your comments to make sure that our current and future technology is not in conflict with the future of our planet.

  1. Consider putting a "Share on Facebook" function on your page. This is a fun thing to share with friends because it makes sense. Help the word get out using social media.

  2. I bought the detachable straight shaft trimmer ST025DS and love it. It is much quieter than a two-cycle trimmer and since it is a four-cycle it develops more torque at a lower rpm. It starts easily with one or two pulls. I can't wait until other lawn products are available.

  3. How about refillable "twist and go" propane canisters?

  4. To use these in the field commercially, we need the refillable bottles soon. Please blog about this as to how long it will take to get refillable containers. I believe that if you get these canisters, you will also be able to sell to the rv, hiker, backpacker, mountain climbers as well.

Commercial companies need these refillable containers soon, please.

  5. Any update on when we can see refillable containers? My company typically purchases 20-30 trimmer units each Spring. I am confident that we will be able to service these units and have been using a few this year with great results.

I cannot roll out large numbers of these without refillable containers and am not able to refill the colemann ones when they say right on them to not refill. What would my dumpsters look like each month if we used the Colemann containers and threw them away every day? :)

Get these available by Spring 2010 and you will see sales explode on the commercial end. We are ready for these in the Midwest

  6. A few suggestions...put a cheap..simple shutoff valve in flex line to tank...these tank connections leak when put away for a couple of weeks in a hot storage shed...then you find yourself changing tanks each time you use the trimmer. Also, would be nice to have a purge air button on the carb....now need a paper clip to purge... to ease cranking when a new tank is put on..Also a note to all not to push in on gas lever...you will never get the damn thing cranked if you do....duh.....A blower attachment would be nice to have to put on the end of the straight shaft trimmer shaft to blow off driveways, walkways etc........would be one less tool to keep up with in the shed.
Otherwise...a better string head to come with the trimmer would be great...the one that comes with the trimmer is JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!very hard to change or put on new string...poor...design...I purchased a different manufactor string head at Lowes and modified to fit...now much easier to change string on my new LEHR..which I have helped sell many the past few weeks to my friends...

  9. Got back last week from the GIE show in Louisville KY. Asked around and would have loved to see the trimmers and blowers out there. The PERC propane group was there along with a lot of mowers that were on propane as well. We are working on fitting a 10lb tank to a backpack so we can run the trimmers on refillable propane. Is 10 lb the smallest refillable tank we can get at this time? Is there something smaller that we can even backpack so we can get these units running on propane for the Spring of 2010. We currently have all of our lawn equipment as well as our trucks on propane. Would love to add your trimmer and blowers moving forward.

    Best Regards,

    Eric

  10. Extending our commitment to the environment through technology, the LEHR research and development team is about to complete their work on the refillable propane tank. We expect to have them available to the public some time in 2010. Stay tuned.
